• Hyundai has revised the prices of the Creta with immediate effect. The model has become dearer by up to Rs. 13,000.
• Prices of the Hyundai Creta were hiked in the range of Rs. 11000 to Rs. 13000 with effect from January 2025
• The second-generation Creta was launched in 2020 with a facelift in 2024

Positives:

• The 1.5-litre turbo diesel mill produces 114bhp and 250Nm of torque. It comes mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic with paddle shifters.
• It features drive modes such as Normal, Eco, and Sport, along with traction control modes like Snow, Mud, and Sand.
• Despite the Creta diesel having an overall relaxed power output, it keeps up with its rival SUVs once past 2,000rpm.
• This diesel motor is smooth and refined enough to be easily mistaken for a petrol mill.
• Even the gearshifts from the diesel’s six-speed torque converter automatic are so smooth that one can hardly feel them.
• The Creta can cruise comfortably at triple-digit speeds all through the day making it a great long-distance car.
• At highway speeds, the cabin remains mostly quiet, with little external noises filtering in, but the ride is flat and stable.
• Even with the six-speed manual, gear shifts are crisp through well-defined gates, with a short throw and a reasonably weighted clutch pedal.
